To preserve the health and physical integrity of the workers, goods and interest of the company, avoiding damages to the property and the degradation of the environment is fundamental in the HSE policy that the corporation establishes budgetary and organizational forecasts. Establishing general responsibilities and actions that involve all the organization levels and the subcontractor companies.
Each work developed by Empresas Y&V counts on a strict program that includes/understands the evaluation of risks, the training of the personnel in safe practices of work and first aid, the obligatory nature of the use of the personal protective equipment and the report of any irregularity. In addition to the medical and paramedic assignment of personnel in the zones of work, we signed agreements with local clinics and pharmacies.
The solidity of the labor personnel in the safety area has allowed, in the last years, to reach the goal of more than 5 million in man-hour worked without incapacitated accidents, according to the statistical registry that is made in each work, according to the COVENIN norm and OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration).
From the environmental point of view, the company respects the integrity of the surroundings where it conducts its operations. That’s why, before undertaking a work, we make evaluations of the possible impacts that may occur in the neighboring fauna, flora and populations. Also following the Environmental Ministry, state or municipal organisms regulations, trying at any moment to reduce the impact and the disturbance caused to the environment.
In the year 2002, the Ministry of Natural Resources granted the inscription in the Registry RASDA to Empresas Y&V, as a dangerous debris handler company.
