Projects
1. Hydro-Geological Study in Oritupano, Leona, Acema and Mata fields
Date: December 200- June 2001
Customer: Perez Companc
This project included the evaluation of the hydro-geological conditions region from the speed and underground waters flow direction, and the phreatic level of water-bearing and the construction of 43 wells, 14 wells for the field Oritupano-Leona and 29 for Acema and Mata.
2. Conceptual engineering and details of the Handling center of Oritupano Leona, Acema and Mata fields
Date: April 2001- November 2001
Costumer: Perez Companc
The work consisted in the development of details engineering of the handling center (CEMADE) for the treatment and handling of differents remainders generated (acid waters, cement non forged, oily waters, muds and debris of perforation base water and base oil). Also it included the modular design for the pre-sizing of the equipment and necessary art works for the correct operation according to effective environmental norm.
3. Environmental studies for the transaction of AOT and AARN for the exploratory program Atlantic Facade Platform Deltana 2000-2003
Date: December 2000-2001
Customer: Pdvsa
This project included the preparation of required documents to obtain the environmental permissions for the project of exploration (seismic and exploratory perforation) in the Deltana Platform and the Atlantic Facade, in the limit between Venezuela and Trinidad & Tobago Republic.
The evaluation of the impacts consisted in studying the changes of the water quality for possible accidental product spills; the noise that would produce the air tubes on marine fish, reptiles and mammals; the general effect of the contamination of waters on the marine fauna; traffic problems in the route of boats by the seismic and transport service boats, and the economic growth.
During the evaluation it was verified that the project will incorporate environmental forecasts to handle the anticipated impacts, and a program was designed to verify the possible occurrence of unexpected impacts, roasted like a Plan of Environmental Supervision for the control of the project on the part of PDVSA and MARN.
4. Control Study of Vehicle Emissions in Valencia city
This project consisted a diagnosis of quality air in relation to the atmosphere emissions by the urban transport in Valencia city, State Capital Carabobo, located in the center-north of Venezuela.
Valencia is an industrial city that in the last years has experienced a remarkable growth of its vehicle park with the consequent problems of traffic. To make the diagnosis data were taken from an inventory of vehicles made previously, from as estimations became of the emissions vehiculares by means of the use of software Breeze Roads, based on model CALINE3.
The different types from vehicles were taken into account (particular cars, taxis, trucks, motorcycles), and ran the model for different scenes: maintenance of the present conditions, changes in the vehicle park, the fuel, and the traffic conditionses (diminution of the traffic by repair of routes, construction of new routes, handling of the traffic lights and the senses of circulation and ordering of the transit of vehicles for the public transport). From the results of Plan Action with the objective to control the emissions and to obtain one better quality of the air in that city.
5. Action health plan, Potable Water and Diagnosis Warao population
Customer: British Petroleum
This project consisted of the measures design to handle the main problems of the Warao communities in the Orinoco Delta, in the northeast of Venezuela, where BP develops activities of oil exploration. During this project a system of potable water supply, a system of harvesting was designed and disposition of the domestic remainders, and a system of health attention to control the problems more frequent than affects the population. These programs were designed to be part of the social plan investment of BP in their operational area.
